Each and every week “The Crazy 88’s” MK2Fac3 and “Fox Force Five” Henchman21 read a lot of (web) comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of (web) comics. Maybe too many (web) comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t, right? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists RSS Feeds, grab some (web) comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books web comics to look forward to are for the week of February 29, 2012. Single issues panels and trades pages, they’re all here. We hardly ever talk about web comics here on The GoD List, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some fantastic ones out there. In fact, they are probably more great web comics available for free all across the Internet than there are comics available in stores for $2.99 and up. So, with that in mind, and considering that this week is extremely light in print comics considering the February leap day/fifth week syndrome that has infected comic book publishers, we’re turning our attention to web comics.

| Wonder Woman Documentary Showcasing At SXSW |

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 at 3:00 pm |

A new documentary entitled Wonder Woman: The Untold Story of American Superheroines, which focuses on the growth and development of superheroines through comics, war, feminism, and the Riot Grrl movement of more recent years, will be showcased at the South By Southwest (SXSW) film festival. While the documentary spends time on Wonder Woman, from the trailer which you can watch here below, it appears that the documentary is truly about feminism and how gender roles are displayed in popular culture depending on society’s attitude towards women at the time. The documentary is being directed by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan (Going on 13) and features appearances by Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman), Kathleen Hana from punk band Bikini Kill, Gloria Steinem, Trina Robbins, and more to discuss the impact of pop culture’s portrayal of women in media.

| Exclusive ‘Skullkickers’ Poster At Image Comics Expo |
By Hunter Camp

Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at 11:19 pm |

Image Comics keeps adding to the awesome announcements for the upcoming Image Comics Expo, and this time it’s for an exclusive map of the world of Skullkickers. Skullkickers is easily one of my favorite comics. It’s a good comedy/action book, but there’s an aspect of this comic that can’t be denied, and that’s fantasy. It fits alongside card games, RPGs, and heavy metal, so a perfect addition to the greatness of the book would be a map of the world explored within the pages. And if you’re going to the Image Comics Expo, you’ll be getting your hands on one because this poster map will be available exclusively (for now?) during the convention.

| Katie Cassidy Cast As Female Lead In CW’s ‘Arrow’ |
By Hunter Camp

Monday, February 20th, 2012 at 6:00 pm |

Katie Cassidy has been announced as the lead female role in CW’s Green Arrow pilot, Arrow, as none other than Dinah Lance. Perfect…. In case you can’t tell, I’m elated with this news. Cassidy has been named as Dinah Lance. To those unaware, Dinah Lance is also known to those of comic book fans as Black Canary, the main love interest and super heroine bad-ass with super sonic voice. Now, will Black Canary actually show up in the show? I certainly hope so, but it’s just as likely that they will keep her as one of the city’s attorneys. Either way, I think Cassidy is a fantastic choice.
