| NYCC 2019: First Look At The New Unnamed ‘Walking Dead’ Universe Series
The Walking Dead Universe is expanding, and the folks from AMC shared a first look at a panel discussion with the cast at this year’s New York Comic-Con of the upcoming third new series, which will be released in spring 2020. Centering on a group of teenagers who grew up safe behind walls during the apocalypse, showrunner Matt Negrete shared that he found inspiration for this coming-of-age story from 1980s classics like Stand By Me while incorporating the real danger of the zombie apocalypse.

The Walking Dead is headed into its 10th season tonight, and in traditional New York Comic-Con fashion, its cast and crew hyped the upcoming installment of the AMC drama at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Saturday. | NYCC 2019: ‘Star Trek: Picard’ Panel Introduces The Series’ Second Trailer |

Mere months away from its world premiere, the cast and crew of Star Trek: Picard took to the stage at Madison Square Garden for New York Comic-Con to share tidbits about the show. Moderated by CBSN anchor and CBS News national correspondent Vladimir Duthiers, the discussion included Sir Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard), Isa Briones (Dahj), Santiago Cabrera (Cristobal “Chris” Rios), Michelle Hurd (Raffi Musiker), Alison Pill (Dr. Agnes Jurati), Harry Treadaway (Narek), and Evan Evagora (Elnor), as well as executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman, and Heather Kadin, co-executive producer and director Hanelle Culpepper and supervising producer Kirsten Beyer. It was certainly an exhilarating atmosphere in MSG’s Hulu Theater, especially when Stewart stepped onto the stage and was greeted by a standing ovation. The crowd’s excitement only enhanced when he announced that New York Comic-Con fans would be the first to view the “quite unseen” second trailer for Picard. | NYCC 2019: Trailer Confirms Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) As Playable Character In Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ Game
A new trailer has been released for Marvel’s Avengers, the upcoming video game developed by Crystal Dynamics, in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, and published by Square Enix. The new trailer introduces Kamala Khan as a playable character, after we briefly saw her in the 19-minute gameplay video. In the comics, Khan was the fourth to assume the title of Ms. Marvel. Marvel Television shared some teasers and surprises with fans at Hulu’s Runaways panel at New York Comic-Con on Friday. In addition to showing an exclusive screening of the third season premiere over two months in advance of its release, Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb shared the extent of the Cloak & Dagger crossover event as well as some tidbits from the upcoming season. Fans watched as the cast and crew graced the stage for a panel discussion held in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Alongside Loeb were series stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, and executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of The OC fame.
