| Trailer For Action-Comedy ‘Game Night’ Starring Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman Released
Warner Brothers Pictures has released a teaser trailer for New Line Cinema’s Game Night, an action-comedy starring Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Jesse Plemons, Danny Huston, Michael C. Hall, and Kyle Chandler. The movie follows a group of couples getting together for their weekly game night, which this night has a murder mystery theme that turns out to be a little more intense than they’re prepared for. It’s directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who were writers on Horrible Bosses, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. | Disney’s Attempt To Buy 20th Century Fox Film & TV Could Have Repercussions For ‘The Defenders’ |

There appears to be more to Disney buying out 20th Century Fox film and TV divisions than just expanding on some properties. On the surface, it would make the studio larger while also limiting where filmmakers could make pitches. On the other hand it would allow Disney to have access to more Marvel titles and the original Star Wars films. The move would also allow Fox to put its focus on news and sports. While that may have been the early details on the matter, there is word that Disney is making a move to buy a competition studio so that they can beat Netflix. More on the story below.

| ‘Mosaic’: New Trailer For HBO Interactive Story From Steven Soderbergh Released |

HBO has released a new trailer for Mosaic, an ambitious project from Ocean’s Eleven and Traffic director Steven Soderbergh and former Universal chairman and CEO Casey Silver, along with writer Ed Solomon. Mosaic is an interactive story in which you can make choices to follow the story from different perspectives. It’s both the name of an app, which launched this week and is where you can choose different paths, and also the name of a six-part limited series airing on HBO in January. The limited series will be Soderbergh’s version of the story, and people will be able to compare how their experiences with the app played out compared to Soderbergh’s version. The cast includes Sharon Stone, Garrett Hedlund, Frederick Weller, Beau Bridges, Paul Reubens, Jennifer Ferrin, Devin Ratray, Michael Cerveris, James Ransone, Jeremy Bobb, and Maya Kazan.
