| Movies Anywhere Launches; Brings Together Your Digital Movie Collection
An app and website called Movies Anywhere has officially launched, which allows users to bring together their digital movie collections. So far, five Hollywood giants (Walt Disney Studios, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Entertainment) and four digital retailers (Amazon Video, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu) are taking part. And the best part? It’s free to use. Those who are among the dwindling number of people who still prefer physical media, myself included, won’t have much use for such a service (but even we can use those digital copy codes that come with physical copies to build a little back-up collection). | Adaptation Of Stephen King’s ‘The Talisman’ In The Works
Another adaptation of one of the works of Stephen King is in the works. Amblin Entertainment is developing a take on The Talisman, the 1984 novel penned by King and Peter Straub. Amblin has brought in Josh Boone to get to work writing the adaptation, which follows a young boy on a quest to find a cure for his dying mother.
