It’s been a bumpy production for Justice League. Changing directors, reshoots, and mustache problems, it almost seemed like the project was doomed to fail. But many fans remain intrigued by the thought of DC’s best heroes uniting together for an ensemble film.

Though trailers have garnered mixed reactions, the film is still one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the fall season. And to make sure it stays that way, Warner Bros. will be releasing one more trailer this Sunday. Plus there are a few new character posters. SYFY has landed a new multi-year non-exclusive deal for the off-network rights to all 140 episodes of the fan-favorite animated comedy Futurama.

Better yet, SYFY will be airing episodes right around bedtime for most people a couple of days a week. Continue reading for more details on the news and when episodes will begin airing.

A big name has signed on for director James Cameron‘s long-in-development Avatar sequels. Kate Winslet, who starred in Cameron’s 1997 box office juggernaut Titanic, is set to reunite with the director for the new Avatar titles.

Cameron said in a statement that he and Winslet had been looking for something else to work on together, and that she’ll be playing a character named Ronal. You can read his full quote below.

The final of three Blade Runner 2049 prequel shorts, titled “Black Out 2022,” was released recently.

This one is a little different from the previous two shorts, “2036: Nexus Dawn” and “2048: Nowhere to Run.” For one thing this short is much longer, clocking in at nearly 16 minutes in length. The other two were only around six minutes in length. It’s also not live-action like the previous two were. The final prequel short was instead created in the style of Japanese anime. In fact, it was made by Shinichiro Watanabe of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo fame.
