Each and every week “JUDO CHOPPIN” MK2Fac3 and “KUNG FU KICKIN” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of August 8, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. You guys, I’m so sleepy. I can’t begin to explain how tired and exhausted I am. I haven’t been able to read but a handful of comics over the past month, and honestly, it’s a little difficult to keep up with all the comics that come out each week. And you know, I’m sure some of you might be having similar problems as well. If that’s the case, then have I got good news for you! We here at Geeks of Doom provide a weekly service in which we tell you all the comics we’re looking forward to! And we’ve got some absolutely fantastic comics coming out this week. If you’re having comics problems, I feel bad for you, son. I got 99 problems, but The GoD List ain’t one.

| Oni Press Announces Full Color Editions Of ‘Scott Pilgrim’During Emerald City Comic Con this weekend, Oni Press announced new editions of Bryan Lee O’Malley‘s popular Scott Pilgrim series to be colored in full by famed colorist Nathan Fairbairn. Fairbairn has worked with some of the best in the best in the business with work including Batman Incorporated, Swamp Thing, and several championed comics, so for him to be chosen as the colorist for these new editions is the best possible result, in my opinion. Scott Pilgrim has been colored previously with several color pages in Scott Pilgrim Gets It Together (the fourth volume in the series), as well as a Free Comic Book Day issue telling a short story of several of the characters, so it’s not an unheard of concept for this to happen.

| Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Next Book Is ‘Seconds’We can expect a lot of comics news later this week as San Diego Comic-Con International descends upon us, but the smart individual will get the word out early, as Bryan Lee O’Malley, creator of Scott Pilgrim, has. Last month, O’Malley tweeted a teaser of his new project called Seconds. This week, the official announcement was made that Seconds be released by Random House’s Villard Books at some point in 2013.
