| WonderCon 2015: WB Presents ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and ‘San Andreas
This year’s WonderCon was a relatively quiet one considering it fell on Easter Weekend. Still, studios were generous enough to stop by and present some scenes for their upcoming Summer tentpoles. At the Warner Bros. panel, attendees were treated to some footage from Mad Max: Fury Road. Unfortunately director George Miller, and stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Nicholas Hoult were unable to attend the event to talk about what is expected to be one of the biggest films of the Summer. However, the footage made up for their absence. The studio also presented Brad Peyton‘s disaster thriller San Andreas, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Carla Gugino, and Alexandra Daddario. | First ‘Batman v Superman’ Trailer Will Premiere Before ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ |
 |

Since Zack Snyder‘s long-awaited Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice won’t be bowing in theaters until almost a year from now and its success is crucial to laying the groundwork for DC Comics’ own cinematic universe, it would behoove Warner Bros. to get cracking on that marketing campaign. The longer they wait, the more Marvel Studios eats their lunch with exciting announcements on a weekly basis, and they know it. Apparently the wait for the world to get a glimpse at genuine footage from Dawn is almost over as Warner Bros. has decided to premiere the first full trailer early this summer. The website The Projection List has a lengthy rundown of the new trailers we can expect to see debuting in front of this year’s biggest theatrical releases, and a teaser trailer for Dawn is scheduled to run before Warners’ first major summer release, Mad Max: Fury Road, along with new trailers for Pan and Terminator: Genisys and a teaser trailer for Jeff Nichols’ mysterious sci-fi feature Midnight Special.

| ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer: It’s Hard To Know Who’s More Crazy
After two stunning trailers for George Miller‘s Mad Max: Fury Road, Warner Bros. has released the third and final one in anticipation for the film’s May release. There is a bunch of new footage, which reveals more plot points than the previous two trailers combined. We also get to see a little bit more of the villain of the film, Immortan Joe (played by Hugh Keays-Byrne). There is just so much action going on, reading a description wouldn’t do the trailer any justice. Besides, watching it on a computer screen doesn’t do it any justice either, and judging by what we see in the trailer, Mad Max: Fury Road deserves to be seen on the big screen. Hit the jump to check it out.

| No Fate But What We Make For Ourselves: BAADASSSSS’ Most Anticipated Films of 2015 |
 |

Every year, thousands of movies hit theater screens around the world and I’m usually only able to catch a handful during their entire theatrical run. Therefore, I have to be pretty damn selective when it comes to what I choose to spend that precious Fandango gift card I received for Christmas on to see. With that in mind, I have assembled a list of the 20 films that are most likely to chip away at the obsidian monolith that is my movie ticket budget. As you may have already noticed, I took the subheading of this article from a quote often attributed to Terminator 2: Judgment Day: “The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.” I suppose that’s my pretentious way of suggesting that one or more of the films on this list could turn out to be complete wastes of time, but we won’t know for sure until they’re released theatrically in the coming months. Also, the release dates noted in the article are correct as of press time, but are subject to change. Read on for my Most Anticipated Films of 2015…
