| Robert Downey Jr. Will Return As Tony Stark In ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’
For months it has been rumored, semi-confirmed, and joked about on the junket circuit and late night talk show circuit, but now it is official: Robert Downey Jr. has signed on to co-star in Spider-Man: Homecoming! Naturally he’ll be returning to play Tony Stark in the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios production which Jon Watts (Cop Car) is directing from a screenplay by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein (Horrible Bosses), with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing alongside Amy Pascal. Tom Holland, the latest actor to play Spider-Man, will make his first appearance as the superhero in next month’s Captain America: Civil War. The events of that film are expected to pay off in Homecoming.

| Michael Keaton Becomes Early Contender For ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Villain Role
Last night at CinemaCon it was confirmed that the upcoming Spider-Man reboot being produced by Sony Pictures in conjunction with Marvel Studios would indeed be titled Spider-Man: Homecoming as previously suggested. Now it appears that the production is close to adding another high-profile actor to the cast. Justin Kroll at Variety is reporting that none other than Michael Keaton is in early talks to play the film’s mystery villain, which could possibly turn out to be the winged supercriminal the Vulture if the rumors are true.

In early 2002, the Boston Globe conducted an investigation on allegations of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. The Spotlight team’s coverage exposed a large cover-up within the church, that stretched far beyond just the city of Boston. It revealed that the scandal had spread nationwide. The Globe would then receive a Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for their comprehensive coverage on the scandal that rocked the United States, but also forced the Catholic Church to make changes within their policy. Now the real-life story has become the subject of a film. Spotlight will bring the story of the Pultizer Prize winning Boston Globe’s investigation to life. | ‘Minions’ Trailer: Tiny Yellow Baddies In Search For The Perfect Boss
After two Despicable Me films, those tiny yellow baddies, better known as Minions, are finally getting their own spinoff film, appropriately titled Minions. It’s a sort of prequel to the entire franchise of sorts, as the film will explore the origins of the Minions and their quest to find the perfect boss. We’ve seen plenty of trailers for the film, but this new video is by far one of the longest, clocking in at almost three and a half minutes. That being said, there is all-new hilarious footage, plus a vital plot that reveals why they end up working for Scarlet Overkill (Sandra Bullock). Check out the latest trailer here below.
