| ‘Robot Chicken’ Animator Uses Nintendo Power Glove As Tool (Video)
Remember how awesome Nintendo’s Power Glove was? Me too! And so does Dillon Markey, and animator for Adult Swim’s hit stop-motion series Robot Chicken. Markey was able to transform a glove into a tool he’s able to use to make his difficult stop-animator job a little bit easier, and it’s pretty awesome. With the help of an electrical engineer he was able to rewire the entire thing, and you can see a video that shows what inspired Markey to use the Power Glove and what he can do with it below.

| Adult Swim Announces New Tim & Eric Pilot, ‘Mike Tyson Mysteries,’ And MoreCartoon Network’s late night Adult Swim line-up is one of the precious few reasons I still bother having a cable box in my home these days. Within their nightly live-action and animated programming block can be found some of the funniest and imaginative writing and performances to ever be seen on television, along with reruns of Family Guy and American Dad. The network shrewdly combines more accessible fare like Robot Chicken, Childrens Hospital, and NTSF:SD:SUV with boldly bizarre, short-lived experiments (they really should bring back The Heart, She Holler) to maintain their healthy fanbase and serve as a wonderland of creative freedom. They show no signs of letting up any time soon, and in fact Cartoon Network just released a list of new shows and pilots they have in development for Adult Swim in the coming year. You can check out the full list here below.

| Watch Now: Sinestro Goes Too Far In ‘Robot Chicken’ DC SpecialPopular Adult Swim stop-motion comedy Robot Chicken will be doing a very special episode dedicated to the comic book characters of DC Comics, and they’ve released a brand new clip from the special entitled “Give It Up, Sinestro” which you can watch here below. In this clip, we see an altercation between The Green Lantern Hal Jordan and his ultimate rival Sinestro. In the battle, Sinestro goes a bit too far and cuts off the hands of protector of space sector 2814. Handless, Jordan returns to the guardian planet where he is granted a new ring, and I gotta say, it’s not the kind of ring I was expecting.

| Watch Now: New ‘Bulletstorm’ Footage; Pre-Order For Chance At ‘Gears Of War 3’ Beta! |

Game publisher EA hit the twitterverse the other day to release a new video titled “Last Call” from game designer Epic Games’ new game, Bulletstorm. The video is a spoof of the Halo 3 ad titled “Believe,” using action figures a la Robot Chicken to show characters from the game. At first I thought Epic was being tongue-in-cheek, poking fun at the ads they had made for the Gears of War games. Which I thought was weird since they have one more game to go. Then I realized that I’ve seen that advertising style before, in Halo. Now if they were making fun of Halo with a Gears ad it would make sense. They are both Microsoft Game Studio published games and Xbox exclusives, however Bulletstorm is being released by EA for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. I wonder what Microsoft thinks of all this? Both videos are embedded below for your viewing pleasure.

| George Lucas & ‘Robot Chicken’ Team To Deliver New Animated ‘Star Wars’ Series
Robot Chicken and Family Guy were both given a special blessing by George Lucas himself to create special episodes of their show that would spoof the classic Star Wars saga of films. So far, everything we’ve seen of these specials (with at least the third spoof from Family Guy expected) has been hilarious, and it’s clear that when done right, Star Wars spoofs can go on for ever and ever and ever. The folks over at LucasFilm have come to this realization, and according to reports, have entered into a new deal with Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich to become creative talents involved in a new comedic animated Star Wars series. Brendan Hay, who writes for The Daily Show, is one of the names brought in to work on the series, and Todd Grimes will be a director. Jennifer Hill (The Backyardians) will be a producer.
