The response to the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at the San Diego Comic-Con this summer was overwhelmingly positive, and it was easy to see why some may have pestered director James Gunn to release it online. When October came, no one expected to see a snippet of what is to come. That teaser was more of a reintroduction to those familiar a-holes who helped save the galaxy. Now we are getting our first official look at the sequel in the form of a brand new trailer.

Back in January of this year came the surprising reveal of 10 Cloverfield Lane, director Dan Trachtenberg’s super secret “blood relative” to producer J.J. Abrams 2008 hit Cloverfield. Abrams made it very clear, however, that the movie was not Cloverfield 2. The two were connected, but part of something much bigger.

Now that much bigger thing is beginning to become even more clear. It’s been revealed that a movie titled God Particle, which Abrams has been attached to as a producer for a while now, is another Cloverfield-related project. Well just a few hours after the release of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 teaser poster, Marvel has released the teaser trailer for the film.

The teaser reintroduces us to some old friends. Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), and Drax (Dave Bautista) all appear in the film, as does Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillan). Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) are also in the trailer but hardly speak. While we don’t get to see any of the new characters, we know that the film will have new characters like Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Ego (Kurt Russell), and Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki). Peter Rabbit is easily one of the most memorable pieces of children literature to ever be released. Since its publication back in 1902, five subsequent books were then released between 1904 and 1912. The rest is, as they say, history. Merchandise and adaptations would soon follow, thus continuing the success of the franchise. Now, the title character is about to get the big-screen treatment from Sony Animation Pictures. A new report says The Late Late Show host James Corden, Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Daisy Ridley, and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 star Elizabeth Debecki will star in the live-action animation hybrid of Peter Rabbit. The Marvel rumor mill can’t seem to stop spinning. Following the rumor that Thor: Ragnarok will incorporate the “Planet Hulk” story arc, comes rumors about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The sequel is currently filming at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, and we still know very little about it aside from the fact that Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel) are probably protecting the galaxy while causing all sorts of trouble.

As little as we know about the plot, we even know less about the new actors that will be joining the cast for the sequel. Aside from the fact that Pom Klementieff will play Mantis, Chris Sullivan is Taserface, Tommy Flanagan will be Tullk, we know that Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell will star in the film as well with one of them presumably playing Star-Lord’s long-lost father, but that is just speculation. This new rumor is centered on Elizabeth Debicki (The Night Manager) and the character she will be playing. More on the story below.
