| First Images Of ‘Warcraft’ Movie’s Orgrim Doomhammer Released
The crew at Industrial Light and Magic aren’t revered as wizards of the visual effects world without good reason. Thanks to the folks over at Wired, we now get a glimpse of some of the magic going into the eagerly awaited Warcraft with the release of a pair of new official images. The film is based on the popular video game series World of Warcraft from Blizzard Entertainment. The two images give us a glimpse of the Orc hero, Orgrim Doomhammer, warchief of the Horde. He’s brought to life by British actor Robert Kazinksky, who was cast back in December of 2013 along with Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, and Toby Kebbell. Orgrim was announced when the movie’s lineup of characters and who’s playing them was revealed last year. You can see the official images of Orgrim Doomhammer below.

| Check Out This Mighty New Hulk Image From ‘The Avengers’I have a feeling The Avengers is going to be one of the most entertaining movies we see this year. Last night the film was screened for critics and the overall reaction was extremely positive. Make no mistake, the expectations for this movie are higher than any comic book-based blockbuster made to date with the possible exception of the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises. At least we can take some comfort in knowing that it delivers where it counts, and then some. | First ‘Star Wars 3D’ Film Gets A Release Date |

Lucasfilm has announced that the first Star Wars 3D release, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, will hit theaters on February 10, 2012. As outlined in the initial announcement on the Star Wars 3D releases, the plan is to re-release each Star Wars film newly converted to 3D every year, finishing in 2017. Both announcements from Lucasfilm have been met with mixed reactions from fans, though George Lucas has been publicly supportive of 3D technology in cinema along with James Cameron in the years leading up to his Avatar release.

| Disney Announces Opening Date For ‘Star Tours: The Adventure Continues’ |

Disney has announced that Star Tours is coming back, and that the newly updated attraction will reopen May 20, 2011, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in at the Disney World theme park in Orlando, Florida. Star Tours is a motion simulator attraction based on the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas. It was first launched at Disneyland in 1987 as a creative collaboration between Disney Imagineers and George Lucas with Industrial Light and Magic. The new version, retitled Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, will be based on a story set between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Anthony Daniels, James Earl Jones, and Peter Mayhew reprise their roles as C-3PO, Darth Vader, and Chewbacca, respectively, for the attraction.
