| From Fury Road To Metropolis: George Miller Could Direct ‘Man Of Steel 2’ |

Warner Bros. is proceeding carefully with their plans for a shared cinematic universe based around their DC Comics properties (a lot of which rides on next March’s release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) to compete with the unassailable Marvel Studios. They had originally planned a sequel to 2013’s Superman reboot Man of Steel to kick off the summer of 2018, but the tentatively-titled Man of Steel 2 was taken off the roster as James Wan’s Aquaman moved into position as Warner/DC’s big 2018 summer tentpole release. Meanwhile, a solo Batman reboot starring Ben Affleck has been dated for November of that year. Unlike Marvel Studios’ blockbuster line-ups, which are usually set in stone but remain subject to the occasional alteration, the DC Comics Shared Cinematic Universe release schedule appears to be in constant flux. Even though Man of Steel 2 is not in active development at Warner Bros. for the moment, that can always change, and fast.

| ‘Mad Max’ Chase Re-Created With GoKarts (Video)
In on of this week’s videos gone viral, a bunch of people re-created a Mad Max chase sequence using GoKarts, a truck, a paintball gun, and some sort of mini clown car version of Max’s Interceptor, and they do it quite awesomely. The short looks to be heavily inspired by George Miller’s recent hit Mad Max: Fury Road, and it clearly is, but in fact the video was actually sponsored by Warner Brothers Games in anticipation of the release of the upcoming Mad Max video game that’s set to be released on September 1st. As the summer movie season has officially come to a close after the release of Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation, it’s that time once again to give you fine folks out there a list of my top ten movies of 2015, so far. Going over my list, it seems I have seen 49 new movies so far, and once again, this also includes older movies I have seen for the first time. And as I prepare my list, the easiest cut, is getting rid of the older movies, and then the real fun begins. And so, I bring to you My Top 10 Movies Of 2015 (So Far).

| ‘Mad Max: Fury Road,’ ‘Mad Max Anthology’ Box Set Coming To Blu-ray In September
George Miller‘s long-overdue (as in three decades overdue) post-apocalyptic adventure sequel Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the best movies of the summer, if not the year (read Adam Frazier’s review here). After raking in over $360 million in grosses at the global box office, the relentless chase thriller starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron is coming to home video in less than two months from now. On September 1, 2015, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Fury Road is separate 2D Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and DVD editions. DVD copies will also be included with both Blu-ray sets, and all editions will come with bonus Ultraviolent download codes.
