MGM has released a teaser trailer for The Addams Family, an animated take on the strange and unusual family originally created by cartoonist Charles Addams in the 1930s.

The movie features the voices of Oscar Isaac (Star Wars, Ex Machina) as Gomez Addams, Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road, Monster) as Morticia Addams, Chloë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass, Let Me In) as Wednesday Addams, Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things, IT) as Pugsley Addams, Nick Kroll (The League, Big Mouth) as Uncle Fester, Bette Midler (Hocus Pocus, Beaches) as Grandmama, and Allison Janney (I, Tonya and Juno) as Margaux Needler.

There’s nothing like good old-fashioned hype to build anticipation. Jessica Chastain says that It: Chapter 2 will have one of the bloodiest horror sequences in horror movie history. There’s no telling if this is true or not, but based on how horrifying and successful Andy Muschietti‘s It (or It: Chapter 1) was, we should take the actress at her world.

Chastain, who appears in the upcoming sequel as an older Beverly Marsh, made the claim while on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. While I don’t take these nightly talk shows too seriously, they have been known to give us small nuggets worth of information; for instance, Ben Affleck confirming that he’s done with Batman. Sure, we’ve known that was coming, but still. And we’ve also seen trailers debut on these shows. So, there may be some truth to what Chastain said. When it comes to the teaser trailers for Stranger Things, you can expect to see… nothing. But that is purely by design. The teaser trailers do reveal something, though: episode titles. And these titles will leave us speculating on what we will see and how they serve as a device to move the show forward. Now, Netflix is giving us our first look at those titles for Season 3, a lot of which has to do with what we have seen and heard in the past, which includes more references to the ’80s. Production on IT: Chapter Two has officially begun. Ever since the first film was a hit, Warner Bros. has fast-tracked a sequel which would give the horror film a conclusion and bring an end to our fear of clowns – like that will ever happen.

So to celebrate such an occasion, James McAvoy, who will play the adult version of Bill Denbrough, has released a new pun-tastic photo that brings in a few laughs at the expense of Derry, Maine. Check out the photo below.

We were always going to go back to Derry, Maine, to revisit the sewer-scuttling terror known as Pennywise in IT: Chapter Two. After the success of the first IT, Warner Bros. made it a priority to get a sequel out. Since this was going to take place years after the events of the first movie, director Andy Muschietti would have to recast with adult actors. And that didn’t stop any of us from creating our very own dream cast.

Currently, Jessica Chastain is the only one confirmed for IT: Chapter Two. She would reunite with Muschietti after they worked together on Mama. And now you can add two more.
