| ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Trailer: Say Hello To Elektra
Last week, Netflix released Part One of the Daredevil Season 2 trailer. The first half focused mainly on Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) aka The Punisher and his search for vengeance against those who took his family away from him. The differing ideologies of how justice should be dealt puts the titular hero and the anti-hero on opposite sides. The latter believes that Daredevil (Charlie Cox) is only “half-measure,” that he is “unable to finish the job,” and above all, he believes that The Man Without Fear is a “coward.” Towards the end of that trailer, we were teased with the appearance of Elektra (Elodie Yung), who greets our hero from the shadows of his apartment. Now a newly released trailer reveals why she has stopped by Hell’s Kitchen, and it isn’t to exchange pleasantries. Check it out below.

| Deadpool Responds To SNL Hosting Petition With Kanye West-Style Meltdown |
 |

Deadpool has earned close to $200 million at the domestic box office in its first nine days of release, which is quite a feat for a scrappy R-rated Marvel Comics superhero action-comedy made on a production budget of $58 million. Most of the people who see it the first time can’t wait to see it again. This is more than a blockbuster; it’s a full-blown cultural phenomenon. As further proof of this development, fans of the movie recently started a petition at Change.org to get star Ryan Reynolds to reprise his role as Deadpool for a gig hosting Saturday Night Live. As of this writing, the petition has gained over 70,000 signatures. In response to this rallying call from his devoted fan base to introduce Marvel’s quippy Merc with a Mouth to the Not Ready for Prime Players, Reynolds released an audio speaking in character as Deadpool angrily ranting about SNL in the manner of the recently-leaked audio recording of Kanye West having an egocentric meltdown backstage at the show. Check out the Deadpool recording here below.

Release Date: February 12, 2016 “Time to make the chimi-fucking-changas!” In Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Green Lantern) stars as Wade Wilson, a cancer patient subjected to an experiment that leaves him with mutant abilities, an unstable mind, and a twisted sense of humor. Written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Zombieland) and directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool feels like National Lampoon’s RoboCop, an ultra-violent cartoon that is as immature as it is obscene. It’s Looney Tunes meets Kick-Ass, and it’s an absolute blast for fans of Marvel’s “Merc with a Mouth.”
