‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Gets A Season 2 From Starz

Fans of The Evil Dead series were elated at the announcement that Bruce Campbell would be reprising his role as Ash for a new TV series on Starz titled Ash vs Evil Dead with director Sam Raimi and producer Rob Tapert also on board. The 10-episode season of 30-minute episodes meant that, after getting a little over four hours of Evil Dead goodness—not counting the ooey, gooey, and gory but Ash-less reboot a couple of years back—in the past 34 years, five new hours would be arriving in the span of just a couple of months beginning with the premiere episode on Halloween night.
Now fans have something to be even more excited about. Three days before Ash vs Evil Dead even premieres, Starz has already officially greenlighted a season two.

With sequels comes new additions. It just comes with the territory. While the Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel are locked in to reprise their “a-hole” roles, with Karen Gillan back as nefarious daughter of the Mad Titan otherwise known as Thanos, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is starting to cast new faces for the upcoming space opera sequel.
A new report says that Pom Klementieff (Oldboy) has signed off to appear in the film, while Matthew McConaughey has turned down the chance to appear in the sequel, leaving director James Gunn to look elsewhere. More on the story below.

Rumor: ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Trailer Attached To ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

It’s been a few months since we saw the footage of Captain America: Civil War at the D23 Expo. At the time there was only about a week’s worth of shooting left before the sequel was completed. Much of what we saw looked pretty polished, and could have been condensed and cut for a trailer. But nothing has been released since then. One might suspect that they would attach the first trailer to a tentpole film, which would make sense since September and October aren’t known for blockbuster films.
While there have been rumors that the Civil War trailer would be attached to Spectre, which is in U.K. theaters now but drops in North America next week, there is another one that says it will be attached to none other than Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Because, you know, both Marvel and Lucasfilm are owned by Disney. More on this story below.

TV Review: The Flash 2.4 “The Fury Of Firestorm”
|

The Flash
Season 2 Episode 4: “The Fury Of Firestorm”
Directed by Stefan Pleszczynski
Written by Kai Yu Wu & Joe Peracchio
Starring Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdez, Tom Cavanagh, Victor Garber
Created by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns
The CW
Air Date: Tuesday, October 27th, 2015, 8:00pm
Last week on The Flash, it was a Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) family reunion, as Lisa Snart (Golden Glider – Peyton List) went to the S.T.A.R. Labs crew for help. For some odd reason, her brother is working with their dad, who abused Lisa mercilessly. She knows Leonard is being forced. Turns out, she was right. Her dad put some kind of injectable explosive into her, and had his finger on the detonator to bend Cold to his will. And his will is a heist. Barry (Grant Gustin) joins the crew in an effort to save Leonard, almost getting himself killed. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) saved the girl, and Barry saved the day, with the added bonus of making Captain Cold seem less evil, thus making him a more believable “legend.” Jesse L. Martin carried the less than stellar side plot of Iris’s (Candice Patton) mother returning. Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) is unwell. The Flash always comes through, so I’m hopeful this piece will become more compelling soon. The biggest of the 52 time breaches is right in the lab, and Earth-2’s Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) comes walking on through. Squeal!!!!
Spoilers below.

Now a new video has been released that offers a different, in-depth look at that same gameplay demo, including specific details on the game, its HUD, and fighting some of its intimidating enemies.
