| ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot With Channing Tatum, Chris Pratt May Still Happen
Production for Paul Feig‘s Ghostbusters is already in full swing, but any hopes of the male Ghostbusters film has nearly dissipated. Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt were both attached to the project, and with rumors of Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America Civil War) directing using a script written by Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation), it seemed that the reboot was going to become a reality. Then came word that the project wasn’t going to happen. Tatum’s producing partner said “we’re not doing that any more,” while Pratt said the rumor was “complete BS.” Plus the Russo brothers have their hands full with directing both parts of Avengers: Infinity War. It may have looked like the Ghostbusters spinoff was going to hit a development stall, but Pearce has come out saying that the film may still happen. More on the story below.
