| Jeremy Renner Says Hawkeye May Appear In ‘Captain America 3’ |
 |

It’s never a dull moment during the production of any Marvel film. And as we have seen, characters can be killed but resurrected, or they can fake their deaths, or they can just disappear into the winds, but if there is one Marvel character that hasn’t gotten a fair shake it would probably be Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye. Renner was a last minute addition to Thor, he was basically a villain for almost three-quarters of The Avengers, and he didn’t get to appear alongside his fellow assassin, Black Widow, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. But the actor may have dropped a huge spoiler about Hawkeye, and the future of his character in the MCU. Avengers: Age Of Ultron director Joss Whedon said that Hawkeye won’t be moping around as a hypnotized baddie in the second film, which is a good thing. Whedon then said he would like to kill someone in the film, and all eyes went on Hawkeye, which would make sense, had it not been for this latest rumor: Hawkeye could be in Captain America 3. Hit the jump to learn more.

| Blake Northcott’s 3 Hottest #NCBD Picks For November 27, 2013
Rat Queens #3 (Image Comics – $3.50) returns this month, with two different covers by Roc Upchurch. And each cover, upon inspection, perfectly reflects the tone of the series.
Cover A depicts the titular quartet of hell-raising women doing what they do best: wreaking havoc. Creatures are stabbed, blood flies, and Hannah, the Elven mage, conjures a little magic to top it off. Cover B is more of a pin-up, but Violet – the hipster Dwarf – isn’t your stereotypical comic book pin-up model. She’s filthy, bloodstained, and beaten from her most recent brawl, with a nasty gash marking her left cheek. The look on her face says it all; it feels like a derisive message to the status quo, breaking through the fourth wall. “No, I’m not a sex kitten in a spandex outfit…I kick asses for a living. Deal with it.”

| Movie Review: The Bourne Legacy |
 |
The Bourne Legacy
Directed by Tony Gilroy
Written by Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy
Starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney
Universal Pictures
Rated PG-13 | 135 minutes
“There was never just one.” In the wake of Jason Bourne’s dismantling of Operation Blackbriar, the CIA decides to dispose of their other black ops programs and terminate their remaining field agents. Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner), a genetically-enhanced agent from Operation Outcome, escapes his execution and, with the reluctant help of Outcome scientist Dr. Marta Shearing (Rachel Weisz), sets out to expose the atrocities of his superiors. Directed by Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton), The Bourne Legacy is the fourth installment in the Bourne series, based on Robert Ludlum‘s spy-thriller novels. Gilroy’s film, however, is based off a 2004 novel by Eric Van Lustbader. With permission from the estate of Robert Ludlum, Lustbader picked up the Bourne series where Ludlum left off with 1990’s The Bourne Ultimatum. Since 2004, Lustbader has written seven additional Bourne novels – which means Universal Pictures has plenty of material to mine for future sequels. The Bourne Legacy‘s plot begins about two-thirds of the way through The Bourne Ultimatum, intercutting non-Jason Bourne scenes from Ultimatum throughout the film to communicate that these events are happening simultaneously. When we first meet Cross, he’s on a training mission in the wilds of Alaska. The first act of the film feels like The Grey meets Cliffhanger, with Renner’s character traversing treacherous terrain, super-jumping chasms, and fist-fighting wolves.
