We’ve got all sorts of great single issues and collected editions that are coming out of the woodwork to get you all twisted into a much more awesome and better-looking version that you were before. I don’t know how that’s possible, but I’m pretty sure that it’s what’s going to happen. Anyway, like I said, there are so many good books this week. We’ve got some awesome stuff coming in Dark Horse Presents, hopefully a good starting point for Animal Man, the second part of Superman’s origin in Action Comics, the newest issue of “The Best Comic In The World” Locke and Key, the second issue in what could be the best new comic of the year in Fatale, another strong candidate for comic of the year with Winter Soldier, and even more in single issues, you guys. That’s not even touching the collected editions, but we’ll get to that later. Some of the comics mentioned above will be chosen, but which ones are as yet undetermined, so read forth young geeklings to find what books that we have picked out for you… within The GoD List.

| Spider-Man Baddie The Lizard Arrested At San Diego Comic-Con (Seriously)
Actor Rhys Ifans, who portrays super-villain The Lizard in the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man feature film, was arrested Friday on charges of misdemeanor battery for shoving a female security guard. The incident took place just prior to a cast panel for the film at San Diego Comic-Con, reports The Wrap. According to police, Ifans smelled of alcohol and became irate when a member of his entourage was denied access to the panel room at the convention. Ifans then shoved the guard, but was allowed to participate in the panel. The accosted security guard subsequently made a citizen’s arrest, according to The Wrap.

| The GoD List: Comics For 3-30-2011 |
 |
Each week, MK2Fac3 and Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull list, grab some issues and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of March 30, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. MK2Fac3 SINGLE ISSUES Jimmy Olsen One-Shot (DC Comics – $5.99) – Formerly a back-up story from Paul Cornell’s run on Action Comics, the team of Nick Spencer and RB Silva have put together a complete 80-page tale that brings Jimmy Olsen back into the public eye with open arms to the Silver Age. I’ve been dying for this to come out since DC nixed all of the back-up titles. This is definitely a purchase that I can’t recommend enough. And the fact that Amanda Conner did the cover doesn’t hurt its hopes at being purchased by me.
Detective Comics #875 (DC Comics – $2.99) – Continuing my excitement for the massively talented creative minds behind Detective Comics, Scott Snyder and Francesco Francavilla team up to bring the focus on Commissioner Gordon in what promises to be a beautiful, thrilling crime book. A must buy.
